A few days ago, I shared that I was headed to Dollywood. I'm happy to say that the trip was a success because I was able to enjoy roller coasters galore. In addition to that, I was also able to spend time with the graduating class of 2015. Congratulations! Here are some memories.
Funniest memory in Tennessee:
A student (Johnny) tried to jump over another student (Danny
) And failed...badly.
Strangest thing in Tennessee:
The pool was in a u shape about 10 feet across ranging from 3ft to 5ft. Might not have been strange but I've never seen anything like it.
Worrisome thing in Tennessee:
A ride was shut down... twice ... In one afternoon. Rumor has it that it was the breaks.

Short People problems part 2
These are scenarios I always end up in consciously and unconsciously.
Because your head is the most convenient height
Their line of sight is about 6 inches above where you are
Happens quite a lot. Often among tall friends.
Tennessee class trip. Y'all know who you are.
Regardless of it all, its always good to think of this.... even though it isn't necessarily true....

Plus all the cute shoes and clothes are in smaller sizes. 😁

Tips to regret your past.
Let us all be honest, there's something in our past we wish we could change. It could be our attitude/outlook on life, things we left unsaid, things that we could've/should've done.... most of us call these, regrets. If you have yet to experience this, don't worry, you will. But just in case you need help in having regrets, below are some tips.
1. Always look out for number 1. ALWAYS. All the little people can handle themselves.
2. When life is rough, remember "When the going gets tough, the tough get going"
3. Do not ever give your best- Everyone knows you'll look stupid. This leads to the next tip.
4. Do not try your hardest- Goodness knows you will fail.
5. Ignore all advice given to you- You clearly know it best.
This list is not exhaustive, but it should give you a head start on the road to regret. Among other things, disrespect everyone, including yourself, and don't plan for the future, and you will find yourself on the could've, should've, would've rocking chair.
P.S If you did not understand, this was sarcasm.

Literature.
As the username suggests, I am an avid reader. I've read stories of all genres, styles, and purposes. This has allowed me to narrow down which category I am likely to enjoy. For example, I prefer fiction over nonfiction. Non fiction is more often a book written in a technical style, making it a very dry read. From here on, weaving what I will not read becomes incredibly easy. I absolutely cannot enjoy fantasy and or sci-fi books; you will not catch me with a romance; and certainly not with a young adult book, I find most to be far too superficial. Therefore, I can be found reading anything comedic, inspirational, contemporary, or historical. With that in mind, here are several authors/books I have enjoyed despite their labels.
The Gallagher Girls series by Ally Carter
The Heist Society series by Ally Carter
Circle series by Ted Dekker
The Lost book series Ted Dekker
House by Ted Dekker and Frank Peretti
In case you haven't figured it out yet, I enjoy a lot of his work.
It should be noted that these are only a few of the books I have read. Others include works by Dickens, the Brontë sisters, Austen, Eliot, Bunyan, Chaucer, etc.
One book that has been recommended to me is:
Disorder in the Court: Great Fractured Moments in Courtroom History by Charles M. Sevilla
Excerpt

WITNESS: Gucci sweats and Reeboks.
____________________________________________
ATTORNEY: What is your date of birth?
WITNESS: July 18th.
ATTORNEY: What year?
WITNESS: Every year.
_____________________________________
ATTORNEY: How old is your son, the one living with you?
WITNESS: Thirty-eight or thirty-five, I can’t remember which.
ATTORNEY: How long has he lived with you?
WITNESS: Forty-five years.
_________________________________
ATTORNEY: This myasthenia gravis, does it affect your memory at all?
WITNESS: Yes.
ATTORNEY: And in what ways does it affect your memory?
WITNESS: I forget.
ATTORNEY: You forget? Can you give us an example of something you forgot?
___________________________________________
ATTORNEY: Now doctor, isn’t it true that when a person dies in his sleep, he doesn’t know about it until the next morning?
WITNESS: Did you actually pass the bar exam?
____________________________________
ATTORNEY: The youngest son, the 20-year-old, how old is he?
WITNESS: He’s 20, much like your IQ.
___________________________________________
ATTORNEY: Were you present when your picture was taken?
WITNESS: Are you kidding me?
____________________________________________

ATTORNEY: Was this a male or a female?
WITNESS: Unless the Circus was in town I’m going with male.
______________________________________
ATTORNEY: Doctor, how many of your autopsies have you performed on dead people?
WITNESS: All of them. The live ones put up too much of a fight.
_________________________________________
ATTORNEY: ALL your responses MUST be oral, OK? What school did you go to?
WITNESS: Oral…
_________________________________________
ATTORNEY: Do you recall the time that you examined the body?
WITNESS: The autopsy started around 8:30 PM
ATTORNEY: And Mr. Denton was dead at the time?
WITNESS: If not, he was by the time I finished.
____________________________________________
ATTORNEY: Are you qualified to give a urine sample?
WITNESS: Are you qualified to ask that question?
______________________________________
ATTORNEY: Doctor, before you performed the autopsy, did you check for a pulse?
WITNESS: No.
ATTORNEY: Did you check for blood pressure?
WITNESS: No.
ATTORNEY: Did you check for breathing?
WITNESS: No.
ATTORNEY: So, then it is possible that the patient was alive when you began the autopsy?
WITNESS: No.
ATTORNEY: How can you be so sure, Doctor?
WITNESS: Because his brain was sitting on my desk in a jar.
ATTORNEY: I see, but could the patient have still been alive, nevertheless?
WITNESS: Yes, it is possible that he could have been alive and practicing law.

Weird pet peeves
Many of us have pet peeves, little nuisances that disturb our peace. I am an avid reader; below is a list of things that make me cringe when reading absolutely anything.
1. Wrong tenses.- he go yesterday doesn't work for me
2. No quotation marks around dialogue. Said George
3. Quick changes in point of views. Its a hassle to juggle between Tom, Suzie Q, and Johnny
4. Wrong grammar. - check your work quick
5. No plot line.- where are we going with this again?
6. Hurried plot lines- what's the rush?
7. Slow, really slow, plots- C'mon now, I've been waiting for them to do something the last 17 chapters. Make them do something.
8. Unrealistic characters- Keep this in mind: Nobody is a saint, got it, good.
9. Misguided history in historical fiction- Remember this, the Celts were the first blue man group.
10. Scenarios that never would exist in real life- hopefully. Seriously, a gang man won't hack NASA, to get blue print of a salt mine in Saudi Arabia to season his food.
11. Inconsequential actions. Seriously, if your character sets a house on fire and it burns through a neighborhood, the neighbors won't gather around and sing kumbaya songs.
I have done this, seen this, and read these. I know all this from experience. If you can, avoid this mistakes please do.

Why I Dont Take Your Word For It.
Ok. Here is what I don't understand. Christian in essence means "little Christ". Does Christ degrade men and women alike, does he lie, is He a liar, a prideful man?
Yes I understand that we are human and we fail all the time. But seriously, what am I supposed to think when you are not repentant, bragging, and staying in sin. I have been in those situations and my actions have had inconceivable consequences, believe me I know what I am talking about. I won't put myself on a high horse but I will say this, your hypocrisy is revealed to those around you all the time. Watch your words and actions
especially when you think nobody is watching.

Tennessee class trip
I am anticipating our upcoming class trip to Dolly wood in Tennessee. It is an amusement park designs for adrenaline junkies, like me. When we arrive, there are several things I am worried about.
1. Getting lost In the crowd. For those of you who read my first blog, you would know I am a short person, and short people get lost on crowds. It doesn't help that I daydream either.
2. In addition to getting lost in the crowds, I might not get on rides. I know I will, but they will have to double check. I might also not have a person beside me who would love to enjoy the thrill.
These worries, however, do not dissuade me from being excited about ...
1. Food.
2. Rides
3. Bungee jumping
Yes, I am that simple a person and at the end of the day I am only praying I wont get lost in the crowd, or have to find my way through the giant maze. I should inform people I will be in the lost kids section.
P.S All tall people, DO NOT WALK OVER THE SHORT ONES!!!! literally.
